Screened Porch – Fore

We had done numerous small jobs for Mrs. Fore in the past, when she contacted me about her rear door that was rotting away. The quad door unit opened up to her rear deck, totally exposed to the elements, with no protection above. She had always wanted a place outside to enjoy when the weather was nice, so we started talking about screened porches. I sketched up a plan, she agreed on the design, and we started construction. We replaced the door unit with Fir door slabs, with full length glass to allow for as much light as possible. Skylights were installed in the new porch roof, for natural light from above. The screened walls were  open to capture the views overlooking the golf course. Ceramic tile was installed on the floor to finish out the project.
